Week 11 Part B_ Marketing with Other Social Media/Tools_Peer Feedba
In this blog, I provide feedback for thee of my fellow students (group 3) on their Wk11 Part A blogs:
Feedback for Jose Luna: https://csit155-sp25-jluna.blogspot.com/
Hi Jose, Great job on your blog! Your passion for your
business, Punto Verde, really shines through in your writing. You’ve done an
excellent job conveying not only your enthusiasm for landscaping and
sustainability but also your forward-thinking mindset when it comes to using
LinkedIn as a growth tool. Your blog introduction immediately establishes a
personal connection and gives readers insight into your entrepreneurial
journey, which makes the post feel authentic and relatable. You clearly outlined the different ways
LinkedIn can support a growing business, building a network, showcasing work,
and continuing education. This blog write-up made your points easy to follow. I
especially liked your mention of joining niche groups and sharing mockups or
pilot projects, and I think that actionable insight really resonates with other
small business owners or students reading this.
I am not sure if are planning to take LinkedIN to the next strategic level by setting engagement metrics for yourself (connections, opportunities, sales, etc.), and potentially turning LinkedIN into a powerful sales tool for your business. Have you tried the LinkedIN Sales Navigator tool yet? I was in B2B mid-market sales for a few years, and the Sales Navigator was my go-to tool and resource when it came to not only making connections but also putting energy and discipline into my opportunities and sales system when it came to creating and closing deals with some of my new connections. Again job, and best of luck on your continued journey!
Feedback for ColbyParker: https://csit155-sp25-colbyp.blogspot.com/
Hi Colby, great job on your blog post! I think you did a great job sharing your
firsthand experience with LinkedIn and how it’s contributed significantly to
your professional success. Your personal
story gives your post real credibility and draws the reader in. It’s inspiring
to see how you leveraged LinkedIn to generate tens of thousands of dollars and
how your strategy evolved with the use of AI. That practical insight is
something many of us can learn from, because at the end of the day, businesses
need to make money! I don’t have much at
all to offer in the way of constructive criticism, as you seem to have plenty
of experience using LinkedIn, as well as a firm grasp on how to adapt and grow
with the platform. I was in mid-market sales for a few years and can also
confirm that LinkedIn (Sales Navigator) was my #1 tool for creating new
connections and driving sales discipline and opportunities! Overall,
I think you did a great job in this blog highlighting how you use LinkedIn along
with Shopify and TikTok towards your overall social engagement efforts and it showed
how these platforms can work together to drive results.
Feedback for Austin Zhang: https://csit155-sp25-austinz.blogspot.com/2025/04/week-11-part-using-ai-social.html
I really enjoyed reading your blog as it was engaging,
informative, and full of practical insights. Your approach to exploring how AI
can enhance branding in the food industry, especially through your fictitious
Asian cuisine business, was creative and very relatable. I appreciated how you
brought in real examples of tools like ChatGPT, Canva’s Magic Design, and DALL·E, and explained how they help streamline content
creation. It makes the idea of using AI feel accessible and valuable,
especially for small business owners. I wasn’t previously familiar with DALL·E,
so thanks for sharing that!
One thing that really stood out was your insight into the
balance between using AI for efficiency and maintaining authenticity. Keeping a brand's tone and personality front
and center is critical to success and AI can be a powerful support tool, but it’s
not a substitute for real human creativity.
Have you thought on any additional future trends in AI and
branding, such as predictive analytics, AI-powered chatbots for customer
engagement, or how AI might evolve restaurant marketing?
Again, great blog! You communicated your ideas clearly and made a
compelling case for why AI is worth exploring in brand marketing.
